Abby Elliott
Abby Elliott,
born June 16, 1987, is an American comedian and actress. She was an Saturday
Night Live cast member from 2008 until 2012. In the years since, she played in
the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the
daughter and co-star of comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the second of two
children and was born in New York City. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert a
talent coordinator, and actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Her father was Bob Elliott
(radio comedian). Her sister, who is younger than her, is actress Bridey
Elliott. They were both raised in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended Immaculate
High School Danbury, Connecticut where she played the role of an actor in
school plays and musicals. She graduated from Immaculate High School,
Connecticut in 2005. She quit Marymount Manhattan College during her first
semester. In 2010, Elliott was in a relationship with Fred Armisen, a Saturday
Night Live cast member. The couple split in September 2011. On September 3,
2016, Elliott married Bill Kennedy, a television writer. Edith Pepper Kennedy
is their daughter. Elliott took comedy classes at The Groundlings and
eventually began doing training and appearing in several sketch comedy shows at
the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles.
