Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30 1991 is an American rapper and singer. He is also known by his initials NF, which is spelled as IF. There are two EPs on his discography called I'm Free (2012)[3]and a self-titled EP with Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first major label release. The second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and reached the top spot at 12 on the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered many awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity with Perception in 2017. The album peaked in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100, and was a top-ten hit internationally. The follow-up album, The Search (2019) was a commercial smash. Feuerstein said that rap was a way to escape his family members during his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs with an singing machine. He recorded instrumentals as well as performed raps using one microphone. Feuerstein independently released Moments the album that was the first of his studio album on the 29th of November, 2010. On August 2, 2011 Feuerstein released his first single "Alone". Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's writers and producers. In 2012, Feuerstein's work attracted the attention of Xist Music. On May 2, 2012, Feuerstein released his debut, extended play , I'm Free, with production work from Profitt. The tracklist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also included an original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist revealed that NF was coming out however Feuerstein left the label because of an argument. NF production was postponed. NF was however, a highlight of the show, featuring a song "Only One", featuring Shuree Wilkins, on the label's compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4 2013 he dropped "Beautiful Addiction" as the single. Profitt also appeared on the song. The song featured vocals from Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz.
